One of Toorak’s most significant estates is preparing to go to an international sales campaign, in what may deliver a new Victorian residential price record.

Evans Court Estate, which sprawls across more than one acre (4050sqm approx) in the heart of the city’s premier suburb of Toorak, is being offered as a one of a kind private compound that its agents predict will attract attention from leading individuals, families and corporations the world over.

The unique holding, which features six luxury homes on individual titles set around its grounds, has a rich Toorak history. It’s main residence, “Windarring” was the first to be built in revered Glyndebourne Avenue in 1920, and featured on magazine covers and society pages in the years that followed under the ownership of Melbourne’s well known Derham family.
