The Melbourne home of former Prime Minister Sir Robert Menzies has hit the market, through listing agents Andrew Harlock and Simon Curtain of Abercromby’s Armadale, with hopes of $8 million plus.

The home, at 10 Howard Street, Kew is being marketed by listing agents Simon Curtain and Andrew Harlock of Abercromby’s Armadale.

Owners Geoff and Anne Green have lived in the home of the former Prime Minister for the last 22 years – just one year short of the 23-year period Menzies occupied the home for, with wife Dame Pattie Menzies and their three children.

It’s understood Australia’s longest serving PM and his family moved into the five-bedroom Kew estate in the early 1920’s, before selling it to a brother-in-law of Pattie Menzies in 1949.
